Casa Santa Lucía is a boutique hotel with the most authentic artisan concept in San Cristóbal de las Casas. It is focused on providing the highest standards of service and quality through its nine different rooms in the categories: Twin Room, Queen Room, Junior Suite and Master Suite. Each room is inspired by the details, style and authenticity of Chiapas, which creates an experience full of traditions and culture.
The building was built in the XVIII century and is registered in the National Catalog of Historical Monuments (070780010571), it was restored in 2010 and is located in the Historic Center of San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. The architecture of the hotel allows its visitors to stay in unique and comfortable rooms. The hotel preserves the architectural value aspects of an old casona with all the comforts of a luxury hotel.
The decoration of the rooms is based on textiles and crafts made by the best craftsmen and weavers of the region, winners of awards and recognitions; also equipped with fine furniture of high design and the necessary amenities to spend a dream stay.
The restaurant located in the Central Patio offers guests a delicious breakfast with a variety of traditional dishes that integrate authentic flavors. To accompany, it offers natural juice, variety of teas, handmade chocolate and without a doubt the best coffee in the region.
In 2016 we obtained the Travelers' Choice from TripAdvisor and again in 2017, recognition that highlights the most popular establishments in the world according to millions of opinions and comments captured in a year by travelers from around the world. The winners were identified in the categories of: Best Hotels / Bargain / B & B and Inns / Luxuries / Small Hotels and Service. The Travelers 'Choice winners' stamps are the service quality and exceptional value. Casa Santa Lucia was ranked 13th in "The 25 most popular small hotels: Mexico" in 2016, and in 2017 it ranked 8th.
